Email Software Settings, for IMAP Accounts
Typically, most email software will enter the default settings and automatically set you on the correct path to configuring your software to connect with the mail server.
The settings below are applicable when configuring an IMAP type email account.
INCOMING Settings
Incoming Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Where "yourdomain.com" is your domain name
User Name:
your full email address (i.e. jane@xyz.com)
Incoming Server Port:
993
Connection type / security
SSL enabled
Authentication:
Password
OUTGOING Settings
Incoming Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Where "yourdomain.com" is your domain name
User Name:
your full email address (i.e. jane@xyz.com)
Outgoing Server Port:
465
Connection type / security
SSL enabled
Authentication:
Password

Certificate or Security Warning
When configuring your email, your software may prompt you with a "certificate" or other security related message. It is safe to proceed.
Click "allow" or "proceed" or "trust", as applicable, to teach your email software to trust the connection to the server.
You may be prompted more than once, as you connect to the server the first time.
